The infertility consultation is a comprehensive, hour-long meeting, open to both couples and individuals, including members of the LGBTIQA+ community who are looking to start a family.
The primary goal of this consultation is to identify the causes of infertility, both female and male, through a comprehensive evaluation of medical and reproductive history. This allows us to formulate an accurate diagnosis and propose a personalized treatment plan, taking into account the specific needs and family-building goals of each individual or couple.
During the visit, the clinician will: • Collect demographic data for the creation of your medical record. • Take a comprehensive medical history, including physiological, family, pathological, gynecological, obstetric, andrological, and reproductive aspects. • Review previous tests and treatments provided for review. • Perform a bimanual gynecological examination and transvaginal pelvic ultrasound for individuals with a uterus. Following the visit, a detailed treatment proposal, including associated costs, and a specific treatment plan will be formulated. It is advisable to bring all previous medical documentation. Partner participation is welcome but not mandatory, recognizing and respecting diverse family and individual configurations.
