Dr. Angelo Tocci

Dr. Angelo Tocci is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics, an Andrologist and Sexologist, and directs the Donnamed Group in Rome. He collaborates with several Assisted Reproduction Centers in Italy and abroad.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of Rome in 1988, he obtained his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the same institution in 1992. He holds a PhD in Obstetric and Gynecological Sciences from “La Sapienza” University. He also earned a second-level university Master's degree in Andrology, Sexual and Reproductive Medicine from the University of Florence.

He primarily deals with Assisted Reproduction, Artificial Insemination, IVF, Heterologous Fertilization, Embryo Implantation Failure, Reduced Ovarian Reserve, Andrology and Sexology, Recurrent Miscarriage, Couple Infertility, and diseases caused by Papillomavirus in males and females.

He is particularly attentive to the bioethical issues related to the application of Assisted Reproduction techniques and their utility.

He has conducted scientific research in the field of embryonic stem cells at the following institutions: Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital (IRCCS) in Rome, Imperial College School of Medicine in London (UK), Italian National Institute of Health in Rome, Claude Bernard University in Lyon (France), Giuseppe Toniolo Institute for Higher Studies in Milan, and the National Research Council (CNR) in Rome.

He has given study seminars at the following institutions: Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital (IRCCS) in Rome, University of Pavia, Gaslini Institute in Genoa, Imperial College of Medicine in London (UK), Georgetown University Medical Center, Center for Clinical Bioethics in Washington D.C. (USA).

Dr. Tocci is the author of numerous national and international scientific publications in the field of Preimplantation Genetic ScreeningAdenomyosis , Endometriosis, Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
