Dr. Maria Antonietta Laricchia

I am a psychologist and psychotherapist specializing in Gestalt therapy, and a clinical sexologist. I offer individual and couples psychotherapy, as well as clinical sexology services.

I earned my degree in Psychology from the University of Palermo with a thesis on the psychological consequences of separation on children.

I completed my specialization training in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute H.C.C. Italy in Palermo.

I qualified as a Clinical Sexologist from IRF (International Institute of Sexology - Institute for Research and Training) in Florence.

I complemented my training with systemic-relational approaches (specifically the Milan Approach and Interpersonal Psychoanalysis) by attending a Master's in Couples Counseling and Therapy and another course on EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)

I deepened my understanding of the body in therapy through various courses: Dance Movement Therapy, a theoretical-clinical course on the body in Gestalt Therapy, Bioenergetics, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
