Cemp is a service provided by Pratica social cooperative ONLUS. It is a private, secular counseling center where each person is much more than the request they bring; where we focus on expressed and, at times, unexpressed needs, relying on a multidisciplinary team of professionals; where we support freedom of choice, accompanying each individual on their journey. This is our space, and we hope it can become yours too.
Cemp is a Type A Social Cooperative. It is a private, secular counseling center authorized by the Lombardy Region since 1981, but founded way back in 1966, when sex education was a distant dream and discussing contraception was illegal.
The counseling center is a point of reference for individuals, couples, and families, for men and women of all ages. It addresses all issues related to sexuality, prevention, maternity, relationships in general, couple or family dynamics, and medical, psychological, or legal problems. It offers many services, but primarily a wealth of information: from telephone inquiries to consultations with qualified professionals who help you understand what or whom you need. They can direct you to the right facility or expert, or continue assistance by transforming initial informational meetings into supportive counseling.
You can visit Cemp to ask a few questions, to pick up a (free) brochure, to find the right expert, or consult a book in the library. Or even just to see what it's all about.
