Professor Francesco Trimarchi, Professor Emeritus and former Full Professor at the University of Messina maintains a private practice in Messina. Since 2013, he has been the Scientific Director of "the ENDOCRINOLOGO" - the official journal of the Italian Society of Endocrinology. He was Director of the School of Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Experimental Endocrinological and Metabolic Sciences, and Pro-Rector of the University of Messina
