Dr. Flavia Capoano

I am a psychologist and behavior analyst, currently completing my training in integrated strategic psychotherapy at the "Scupsis" specialization school in Rome. I specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorders and ABA therapy, both in Rome and London, where I lived for 7 years and worked in clinical, home, and school settings. Today, I live and work in Rome, where I practice both in-person and online with adults, young adults, and adolescents. I also provide supervision in both Italian and international schools, working in both Italian and English. I am part of the team of psychologists and activists for the "Italy needs sex education" project, disseminating content and participating in meetings and debates on the importance of sex and relationship education and how essential it is to integrate it into our country's schools. In my work with children and young people, I frequently use books and illustrated storybooks as a clinical tool, especially when conducting workshops on emotions and sex and relationship education.
