I am Anna, a Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist and Clinical Sexologist specializing in atypical sexuality, kink, BDSM, and LGBTQIAK+. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and other relationship configurations. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in the Gottman Method, which I integrate into my clinical work with couples. I am a registered psychologist with the Lombardy Regional Board (n. 03/17436). I work with clients from across Italy and Europe (and indeed, worldwide) as I primarily offer online sessions. My practice aims to create a safe space where individuals, including those with non-traditional lifestyles, can explore questions, difficulties, or desires related to sexuality, relationships, and gender and role identity. I pay particular attention to women who have experienced any form of violence, guiding them through a journey of awareness and liberation. Another area of my interest is sexual pain, particularly concerning vulvas and vaginas. I have collaborated with various organizations, providing individual and group consultations, and have built a trusted network of healthcare professionals with whom I partner to support women who choose to work with me. I am trained in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodivergence in adults (specifically ADHD, and I am completing my training for autism). I also have a particular sensitivity to providing counseling and therapy for couples (or other relationship structures) where one or both partners are neurodivergent. In individual psychotherapy, my approach focuses on the connections between emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we will identify the threads that connect these three aspects within you, pinpointing the core difficulty as a starting point for change. Your well-being and the improvement of your emotional state will be at the heart of our journey, where you, alongside me, will be an active participant. Through our work together, you will gain greater self-awareness, learning to draw upon new resources that will support you during challenging times.
