I graduated in Florence in 2011 and continued my midwifery training, also specializing in urogynecological rehabilitation. I always integrate professional work with personal experience, fostering awareness and body perception. I trained in the Resseguier Method, which provides comprehensive support for my midwifery practice. I also trained in "neonatal and pregnancy aquatics." I completed training in sexology at the Institute for Research and Training in Sexology in Florence (IRF), becoming a sexology consultant. In my midwifery practice, I assist women during pregnancy and accompany them through childbirth, both in hospital and at home. I support mothers and their babies during the postpartum period, with breastfeeding, newborn care, and their parenting journey. I run a clinic focused on menstrual and sexual health, and related issues. At the La Mia Ostetrica association, I lead prenatal and postnatal courses to offer comprehensive, quality, and personalized support to families who are forming or expanding. I also organize group courses and individual sessions for pelvic floor rehabilitation, menstrual health, and sexual health. The comprehensive care I offer as a midwife is personalized, aimed at listening to and respecting a woman's intimacy, promoting informed choice, and embracing the individuality of the person and family I support. I place women at the center of every stage of their lives and advocate for their right to health. I am a mother of five and a devoted partner. My family supports and, in its own way, shares my work as a midwife, always offering insights to improve my practice.
During the first visit, we will dedicate ample time to conversation to establish a connection at a comfortable pace, gather all relevant physical and emotional information, and allow the patient to feel comfortable, safe, and heard in every need. This will be followed by a body assessment, which includes both a global external evaluation (postural, respiratory, core, perineal, etc.) and an internal obstetric evaluation of the genital area. The meeting will conclude with the client sharing their experience and perceptions, followed by the professional's feedback, to then jointly plan the continuation of our shared journey.
